Snowflake Native App

Governed, self-serve
data domains. In minutes.

Your teams stand up ingest → transform → serve on Snowflake — inside the guardrails you set once. A Native App that runs in your account and manages itself.

The problem

Scaling on Snowflake, data turns to sprawl.

Every team builds their own way. You either become the bottleneck for every request — or governance quietly falls apart. Data mesh promised a fix; in practice it's wikis and tribal knowledge.

  • No two domains look alike — naming, layers, access, PII, all divergent.
  • Your team gates every new dataset, pipeline and grant.
  • Every new domain is a multi-week project wired from scratch.
  • Nobody can safely navigate another team's data.
How it works

Three steps. That's it.

You describe the domain; DataSpace builds and governs it — no Snowpipe, dbt, containers or grants to wire yourself.

01 — describe
Blueprint

Describe the domain

A short blueprint — or a template: your tables, an owner, what to expose. No SQL or DDL.

02 — provision
One action

DataSpace provisions it

Ingest → transform → serve stood up in minutes, validated against your company guardrails.

03 — consume
Output ports

Teams consume it

Governed APIs, Snowflake shares or views. Callers never send SQL; PII and access are enforced.

Why leaders adopt it

Autonomy for your teams.
One set of rules — yours.

Set the guardrails once. Every domain has the same shape and inherits them — quality, security, governance, access — so any team can move without waiting on you.

Faster

Minutes, not quarters

A complete governed domain from a blueprint, in one action — instead of a platform project.

Leaner

No platform to build

No infra, DevOps or SRE. It runs and manages itself, from one console.

Safer

Governed by design

Naming, PII, access and cost guardrails enforced on every domain, automatically.

Data & platform leaders

You want consistency and governance across teams — without being the bottleneck for every request. Set guardrails once; watch the whole fleet from one console.

Domain & analytics teams

You want a complete, governed data domain in minutes and full autonomy inside it — without learning SPCS, Snowpipe, dbt and RBAC.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Isn't this just an API in front of Snowflake?

No. An API is one of several output ports. DataSpace is a factory for complete, governed data domains — with a lifecycle (ingest → transform → serve), enforced company guardrails, and a fleet console across all of them. The endpoint is the easy part; the governance and consistency are the product.

Does my data leave Snowflake?

Never. DataSpace is a Native App that runs entirely inside your Snowflake account. Nothing is copied to us or anywhere else. You pay Snowflake for compute directly; we're a software layer on top.

Do we still need Snowpipe, dbt, SPCS, RBAC?

DataSpace uses them under the hood — you just don't wire them. Transforms are dbt (generated from your blueprint), serving runs on Snowpark Container Services, governance maps to Snowflake roles and policies. Best practices, by default.

What about data that lives in Databricks or another lakehouse?

On the roadmap: govern and serve data in an external Iceberg catalog (Databricks, Glue) through Snowflake — without moving it. If that's your setup, tell us — we're picking design partners for exactly this.

Is it production-ready today?

We're in early access and onboarding a small group of design partners now — hands-on, shaping the roadmap with us. If you're scaling on Snowflake and feeling the sprawl, this is the moment to get in.

● Taking a handful of design partners

See it on your data.

A 20-minute walkthrough — we provision a governed domain live, then set you up as a design partner to run it on your own Snowflake. No install required to watch.
